Influenza Program
The Orange County Health Department provides flu vaccinations each year. Clinics usually begin in October and are held throughout November and into December. Clinics are held at both Health Department sites and in all Orange County Senior Centers. Times and locations vary and schedules will be posted prior to flu season.
Vaccine Formulations Available
- Inactivated vaccine with preservative, given intramuscularly
- Inactivated vaccine without preservative, given intramuscularly (while supplies last)
- FluMist – live vaccine preparation given intranasally to healthy, non-pregnant
persons ages 2-49 years
