Human Relations Forum
The HRC hosts an annual community forum on a topic of interest. The 2018 Forum will be held on April 15 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and will focus on sexual harassment. The title of the 2018 forum is “Making Sense of it All: Exploring The Complexities of Sexual Harassment.” We encourage the community to participate in this informative event, which will include breakout sessions for further understanding and support. Human Relations Community Read
The HRC Community Read is a twice-a-year book club for the entire county, cultivating a culture of reading and discussion by bringing people together around great works of literature. The Commission encourages a Summer Read (which may align with the University of North Carolina Summer Reading program) and a Fall Read. Each Community Read is purposed to inspire literacy, critical thinking, and community bonding. Join us!
