Request email notification when page changes Email me page updates

Food trucks (also known as Mobile Food Units) and Push Carts must have an individual permit issued by the Health Department in order to prepare and to sell food.  Special operating relationships with a permitted commissary are frequently needed.  We would love to talk to you about your ideas if you are seeking a permit.  Please contact our office for any questions about food trucks and push carts.

Because they are mobile, food trucks and push carts may have a permit from one county and operate anywhere in the State.   They must report their itinerary to the local health department.  Orange County Environmental Health is testing a new self-reporting system.  Tell us where and what time you will be operating.  This can be done daily or as appointments and bookings are made.
