In-Home Safety Inspections
What Do In-Home Safety Inspections Entail?
In-home safety inspections are client-driven, customized meetings with the occupational therapy team that average 45 minutes to an hour.
Inspections are free to Orange County residents.
In-home inspections result in follow-up recommendations. The team can connect homeowners to community resources, and they can provide referrals for various intervention strategies. In some cases, the team can also provide minor home modifications completed by a contractor. If finances are an issue, our social workers are available to attempt to locate resources.
Depending on when you sign up for an inspection, wait time for receiving an inspection may range from 1-3 weeks.
