How to qualifyMedical equipment is available to all Orange County older adults. In order to receive the equipment, a patient must obtain a letter of medical necessity from their medical provider. If someone outside of Orange County is in desperate need of medical equipment, he or she may be eligible for assistance depending on current supplies.

Cost:  Medical equipment is free for eligible individuals, but there is an expectation that the equipment is returned in good condition when no longer needed.

Types of Medical EquipmentWheel chairs, roll aiders, walkers, bathtub benches, shower seats, canes, crutches, reachers, bedside commodes, raised toilet seats, and dressing equipment. Occasionally, we have low-vision equipment.
