    Not sure if your cell phone is an android or iPhone? If you want to learn more about your iPads, kindles, tablets, or whatever device you may have, this is a great opportunity. You will get one on one instruction from our tech savvy high school students. Your own personal Tech Assistant will be available to address your specific needs and inquiries with you for 45 – 60 min every other Saturday.

    Computer Class: Computer Basics - Cybrary This class is for anyone just beginning to learn how to use a computer. We will briefly go over the physical computer parts, how to turn the computer on and off, the desktop, Start menu, and how Microsoft Windows works.     Main Library Meeting Room. Children from walkers to age 5, their caregivers and their siblings are invited to storytime. This storytime is followed by a 30 minute stay and play.

  3. Writing About Family Violence Workshop with Pam Baggett at Main

    November 3, 2018, 1:00 PM @ Main Library Meeting Room

    Pam Baggett will create a safe space in which to write about childhood abuse and/or intimate partner violence. Writers who have not experienced abuse are welcome to explore their thoughts on the violence ingrained in our society. Pam is a former volunteer at the Compass Center in Chapel Hill where she co-wrote and facilitated a writing support group for survivors of domestic violence. The workshop is FREE and open to writers of all levels and genres. Registration is encouraged at or at 919-245-2536. This program is supported by the Orange County Arts Commission.
