  1. Computer Class at the Cybrary -- Microsoft Word Basics

    In this class, you will learn how to do basic formatting, how to copy and paste, how to insert images, how to check your document for spelling and grammar errors, and how to save and print. The Community Workshop Series is a series of introductory computer classes held each semester in partnership with UNC. Solid Waste Management

  1. Composting Class

    October 13, 2018, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Solid Waste Administrative Office

    Learn the basics of outdoor composting using a variety of recipes and containers, and indoor composting using worms. These composting classes are led by seasoned composting expert Muriel Williman from Orange County Solid Waste Management. No registration is necessary and they are FREE for all. Children are welcome if accompanied by a compost curious adult. If you happen to miss one of these opportunities, you can schedule your own composting class for groups of six or more at one of the demonstration sites listed above.
