Revaluation
Revaluation is the process of reappraising all real estate in the County to the current market value. The purpose of revaluation is to update assessed property values to the current market value. In Orange County, revaluation is conducted every 4 years. The effective date of the most recent revaluation is January 1, 2009.
2009 Revaluation Rates
The 2009 Revaluation Rates are explained on Orange County's 2009 Revaluation Values page. Since the last revaluation in 2005, the property owners of Orange County have typically realized an increase in the values of real estate. These increases are reflected in the valuations.
