3R: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Fee
Orange County offers financial assistance to qualified applicants when paying their 3R fees. Eligibility Requirements are listed below.
Eligibility Requirements
For regular 3R Fee assistance, the basic requirements are as follows:
- Income is less than $27,100
- Individuals own and live in residence
Complete the Application for 3R Fee Assistance and mail or bring it to our office.
However, if you are applying for the Homestead Exemption Relief Program, you may qualify for 3R Fee assistance but are still required to complete a separate HE Application for 3R Fee Assistance. Please complete and mail or bring it to our office with your application for Homestead Exemption.
