Lost & Found Pets
If you have lost a pet, please contact the Animal Services Center as soon as possible. We strongly encourage you to search our on-line database of found pets frequently, as new animals are added there throughout the day.
Animal Services holds stray animals for a 5-day period in which we are open to the public for at least 3 of those days. Please contact us immediately if your pet is lost.
Please contact the shelter at 919-942-PETS (7387) for information regarding adoptable animals.

Transferring Pets to Rescue Placement Partners
Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) recognizes and values the hard work and dedication of area rescue organizations, and we enjoy working with many groups in order to save lives and work together to place adoptable, healthy animals into loving, permanent homes.
OCAS offers many cost saving benefits to rescues, including vaccines and some medical services, at no cost! In addition, we offer sterilization and microchipping services for very low fees for cats and dogs transferred to rescue groups.
We invite your organization to join us in our efforts to improve the lives of companion animals in Orange County!
