- Central Orange Senior Center is looking for Front Desk assistants who enjoy welcoming participants as they come through the door. Work closely with the Front Desk Manager to help with appointments, class registrations, clerical tasks and answering the phone. Sign up for one of the two regular shifts available beginning in March or join the team of volunteers on call as substitutes needed now. Regular shifts available Tuesday 1pm to 5 pm OR Friday 9 am to 1 pm. Contact RSVP Volunteer Program
Partners -- Volunteer Stations
A leader in volunteer recruitment and placement for adults 55 years+, the RSVP Volunteer Program of Orange County partners with local nonprofit agencies to identify community needs and seeks volunteers with interests in meeting those needs.
- Once nonprofit agencies partner with the RSVP Volunteer Program, they are referred to as Volunteer Stations. More than 100 agencies have registered with RSVP for assistance in finding volunteers at least 55 years of age or more.
- Each Volunteer Station provides job descriptions to aid RSVP staff in seeking volunteers for those agencies.
Eligibility to be an RSVP 55+ Volunteer
- Be at least 55 years of age or older for most volunteer opportunities available through the RSVP 55+ Volunteer Program
- Be willing to submit volunteer service hours and serve in Orange County
- You don't have to be retired
- Complete a Registration Form. You will need to print, complete and mail the form.
