COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

CHARGE: The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its
respect. The Board asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a
respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow
citizens. At any time
should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this
public charge, the Chair will ask the offending person to leave the
meeting until that individual regains personal control.
Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the
meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to this public
charge is observed.

Public Hearings, Commissioners traditionally do not comment in order
to allow citizens to have the maximum time to express opinions.
Speakers may only sign-up for themselves.

We are glad to have this opportunity to hear from the citizens of Orange County on the potential impacts of a possible school merger and we hope that as many as possible will be able to speak within the time allotted.

In case you do not have the opportunity to speak at the Public Hearing,
you are invited and encouraged to fill out and
submit the orange question/comment card at the sign up tables. This
information will be reviewed by staff/Commissioners and efforts will be made to
develop and post responses to the most commonly asked questions.
Staff will also prepare a compilation of all the comments received on the
orange cards and make this available to the public.
