Chef Class is a six-week program where children learn to make healthy snacks, easy meals, and simple desserts. This introduction to the kitchen teaches kids how to read a recipe; basic kitchen skills such as mixing and measuring; and how to maintain a safe and healthy working environment. Some ingredients may contain allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten, or eggs. The two sessions for each age group are duplicates of each other. Both sessions will have the same curriculum and will share recipes. Participants are asked to enroll in only one session to allow others to participate.
